I’m glad you’re here and considering taking the step into psychotherapy, self-exploration, or psychological counseling. My name is Christian René Welp. I am a licensed psychological psychotherapist with specialization in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I am currently in the founding phase of my private practice in the heart of Leipzig, in the beautiful Waldstraßenviertel.
I believe that each person is unique in their experiences, and the support they need should be just as individual and tailored to them. That’s why it is especially important to me to get to know your strengths and interests and incorporate them into the treatment process.
You can already sign up for my waiting list. I also offer online therapy. Please note that at the moment, I am only able to offer therapy for privately insured clients or self-paying clients.
At the same time, I would like to draw your attention to the option of cost reimbursement (§13 (3) SGB V), which may allow you to receive reimbursement from a public health insurance provider. Please inquire directly with your insurance company for more details.
I have many years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. As an intercultural trainer – and through my own journey of living in several countries around the world – I bring a deep understanding of cultural differences and individual life stories to my work.
As a licensed psychological psychotherapist, I am authorized to treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, pain disorders, psychotic disorders, and more.
